Queen Camilla stuns in striking emerald green outfit in latest outing

Queen Camilla cut a striking figure as she opened Winter Flowers Week today, as The Firm continued a dignified response over last week’s bombshell. The Queen was pictured attending the event, hosted at The Garden Museum, wearing an emerald green jacket and skirt, as she was welcomed to the museum by the museum’s Chair of Trustees Rupert Tyler, museum director Christopher Woodward, and the museum’s President, broadcaster Alan Titchmarsh.

The Queen toured installations during her visit from designers including Hazel Gardiner, Carly, Rogers, Tattie Rose, Sarah Diligent and Shane Connolly, who accompanied the Queen during her visit.

Queen Camilla also met representatives from Arts Council England and Flowers from the Farm, whose flowers were used by Shane Connolly for displays at the Kings Coronation earlier this year.

The Queen also met with volunteers from the charity Floral Angels, who recycle flowers donated from events, and rearrange them for use in hospices, women’s refuges and care homes.

The visit marks another engagement in what has been a busy week for the Royal Family since the fallout from Omid Scobie’s bombshell book last week.

Earlier this week, King Charles and Queen Camilla were pictured with Prince William and Princess Kate at Buckingham Palace during a diplomatic reception on Tuesday evening, marking the first time the four most senior royals appeared together since the furore of last weeks ‘race row’.

Meghan Markle was also seen this week for the first time following the book’s publication, pictured in Santa Barbara, California in footage obtained by the Daily Mail. The Duchess sported a toned down all-black look, with a baseball cap and sunglasses.

Meghan wore an interesting choice of accessories, displaying a golden bracelet reportedly gifted to her by King Charles, as well as a Cartier watch believed to be a former piece of Princess Diana’s.

The Dutch publication of Omid Scobie’s book named two royals allegedly involved in the ‘race row’ referenced by Meghan Markle during the Sussexes infamous Oprah Winfrey interview in 2021.

Buckingham Palace was plunged into crisis after the two names circulated social media, causing broadcaster Piers Morgan to name the royals mentioned during his Uncensored show last week, with other media outlets quickly following suit.

The Daily Express has chosen not to name the royals alleged of making the comments.

The Palace is said to be ‘considering all options’ following the incident, which Scobie refused to apologise for last week. The author denies including the names in any versions of manuscript for his book.

Scobie said on This Morning last week: “I have never submitted a book that had their names in it.”
