Queen Camilla is ‘extra queenly’ at the races as royal fans compliment her hat
Queen Camilla looked beautiful on Saturday at Betfred St Leger Festival, Doncaster Racecourse, alongside King Charles.
Their facial expressions of stress and anticipation during the Betfred St Leger Stakes were very relatable.
For the event, Camilla donned a Bruce Oldfield Couture jacket and coat combo, a reliable choice for the royal.
The sustainable fashionista has been pictured wearing the duck egg blue number before.
She paired this with a new Philip Treacy hat in cream, which featured a ribbon in the same colour as her jacket and skirt, plus an elegant olive green feather.

She also wore the Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Small Leather Shoulder Bag. The neutral accessory complemented the outfit nicely.
A huge fan of lavish brooches, it’s unsurprising that Camilla went for The Minoru Brooch at the races.
According to The Court Jeweller, the elegant brooch boasts diamonds, rubies and sapphires.

Taking the shape of a horseshoe, it was the perfect lucky bracelet for the occasion. The Court Jeweller said: “The diamond-set letters on the brooch spell out the name ‘Minoru’.
“Racing aficionados may immediately spot the royal connection. Minoru was one of King Edward VII’s most successful Thoroughbred racehorses. In 1909, he was one of the best colts in the country, and his win at Epsom win made Bertie the first reigning monarch to win the Derby.
“Minoru had also worn the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket that year; he narrowly missed winning the British Triple Crown when he was beaten by Bayardo at the St Leger.”
Queen Camilla completed the look with some cream court shoes with a tiny heel. Her buttery blonde locks were worn in her signature style and she went for a classic daytime makeup look. Famously, the royal will never get her ears pierced, so she donned her go-to diamond and pearl clip-ons.
Royal fans were impressed and took to Instagram to comment on her latest look. @ladeda66 said: “One of her best outfits this year! Hat is perfect!”
@marskylaparsky commented: “Camilla is very good with hats!!” @jinxym said: “I like this look on Camilla. Extra queenly.”
