Comedian Joy Behar mocked the Queen while commenting on the Palace’s recent statement following Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview. While speaking to Whoppi Goldberg on The View, Ms Behar said the Queen had cast doubt on the Sussexes claims with her choice of words in the statement. She also emphasised her surprise that the Queen was not aware of how unhappy Meghan and Harry were.

She went on to say the Queen must have had her “tiara on too tight” to have not seen their unhappiness.

Ms Behar said: “Obviously the Queen does not watch the View because I told her yesterday what to say.

“She did not listen to me, she did not aggressively denounce racism and say it will not be tolerated anywhere, specifically in the Palace.

“I did not like the idea that recollections may vary because it leaves room for reasonable doubt that Prince Harry didn’t hear it right or maybe he made it up.

“In conclusion, I would give the Queen a C+.”

Ms Goldberg said: “The fallout continues to happen over Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview.

“Everyone is asking, did the Queen say what she needed to say here?”

They also focussed on the racial difficulties that Meghan had experienced from the media, the Palace staff and the Royal Family.

Meghan and Harry insisted that one Royal Family member showed concern as to how dark their mixed-race child would be.

However, the pair decided not to name the individual with Meghan claiming it would be very damaging for them.
