Queen all smiles in pink for fourth day at Royal Ascot as Fergie makes surprise appearance

Her Majesty’s favourite royal event has been taking place in Berkshire this week. The Queen has impressed the crowds every day with her array of outfits and today was no exception, as she donned an Angela Kelly. The 93-year-old arrived in her royal carriage as usual alongside her first cousin once removed, Lady Helen Taylor, daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Kent.

She was also joined by Sarah Ferguson for the first time today.

Fergie wore a bright yellow wrap dress for her day out.

She also paired this with a teal hat, perfectly offsetting her red hair, which was loosely curled.

Sarah also carried a matching teal and gold velvet bag in her arms while she watched the races.

Yesterday was the most popular day of the five days of Royal Ascot.

This was because it was Ladies’ Day and the perfect opportunity for female guests to dress in their fines attire.

Princess Eugenie stood out from the crowd in a bold turquoise dress at Royal Ascot on Tuesday.

The 29-year-old worse a dark design and which had a high neck and was completely sleeveless.

It is also a chance for people to get creative, escpecially with their headwear.

Temperatures reached highs of 18C, but there were still some rules to follow.

In the Royal Enclosure, hats must be worn, while strapless dresses are banned and midriffs are not allowed on show either.

Trouser suits had to be full length and matching.
