An unjabbed chef has declared that anyone is welcome to the restaurant he works in, irrespective of their vaccination status. Anthony Worrall-Thompson is of the opinion that unvaccinated individuals should have the same rights as those who are inoculated. Mr Worral-Thompson stated that he is “not against vaccination” but people who “accuse” him of being an anti-vaxxer must mind their own business.

He raged against the string of accusations he suffered from pro-vaxxers, saying that nobody should expect others to protect them as they have to “protect themselves”.

Talking to fellow unvaccinated and non anti-vaxxer and TalkRADIO presenter Kevin O’Sullivan he laid emphasis on autonomy as he slammed Italy for introducing the law of mandatory vaccination for people on the wrong side of 50.

Mr Worrall-Thompson said:  “I am not against vaccination, I just believe anyone has the freedom of choice and what they put in their body has to be up to them.

“I can’t abide that in Italy they are making over 50s mandatory to have a vaccine. I think it’s absolutely returning to a police state and it’s the not the way it should be”

Having grown tired of regularly being branded an anti-vaxxer, he reacted angrily, saying that just because he refuses to get jabbed against COVID-19 it doesn’t mean he loathes vaccines in general.

And being part of a restaurant he is subjected to regular checks anyway in a bid to keep customers as safe as possible.

He said: “I am not an anti-vaxxer. We’re in a hospitality industry, we test ourselves regularly [because] we have to protect people.

“There are customers who won’t walk around with masks, there are customers who don’t.

Boris Johnson: New poll shows Tory backbenchers still want him

“It’s not legal to have to wear a mask in restaurants as it is in shops and I believe next Wednesday they’re gonna drop those masks as well.”

Prime Minister Boris Johnson will reportedly announce the end of plan B restrictions later today after assessing new data.

But Mr Johnson looks set to scrap Covid passes and working from home.

Mr Worrall-Thompson believes that the Prime Minister success must not be eclipsed by the party scandals, stressing that if it wasn’t for him Britain would not be one of the global pioneering countries to move on from the pandemic.

He said: “For the time being, Boris for all his other faults seems to be getting on top of the issues.

“We seem to be leading the way in opening the country up.”

Before he aimed a parting shot at critics.

“The small minority who shouted, the likes of me and you, accusing us of being anti-vaxxers they just gotta get on with their own lives!

“And if they feel vulnerable, protect themselves and don’t expect us to protect them!”
