Princess Kate’s heartbreaking worry for Charlotte as she grows up
Having a sister can be a huge blessing – often providing a built in best friend and confidant. And according to a royal source one of the big worries Princess Kate has is that her daughter Princess Charlotte doesn’t “have a sister to confide in or do things with”.
But The Princess of Wales, 41, is doing her very best to put things right and support Princess Charlotte, eight, in every way she can.
The source told Closer magazine: “Kate and Charlotte have such a close, cute relationship, much like Kate and her own mum, Carole.
“She realises that Charlotte doesn’t have a sister to confide in or do things with, so she tries to do fun things with her.”

The source added: “It was just the two of them. They ordered room service and watched movies together while eating candy.”
The pair also share many of the same interests – which makes spending time together a joy.
The source said: “Kate sees a lot of herself in Charlotte — they’re both fiercely competitive, confident and eager to try new things.
“Charlotte never wants to sit on the sidelines, she always wants to jump right in.”
They also share a love of fashion with the insider saying that Princess Kate tries to involve Princess Charlotte in many of her big special event moments and “shows her sketches before her special event clothes are made.”

Meanwhile, Princess Kate revealed she’s been advising her daughter Princess Charlotte, eight, over one of their shared hobbies.
The Prince and Princess of Wales attended the annual Royal Variety Performance in London on Thursday night.
There, Princess Kate spoke with Chinese pianist Lang Lang who performed alongside 13-year-old Lucy, a blind and autistic girl he discovered playing on a public piano in a train station.
He said: “We talked about Charlotte. Her Royal Highness talked about Charlotte’s piano playing, I’m sure she’s good.
“Her Royal Highness said to me that she said to Princess Charlotte ‘Hey, look, if you practise a lot you can be like him’.
“So I’m happy to be helpful a little bit. It’s really funny, I was like, wow, I’m sure she will do well at the piano. I think she is practising.”
