Kate, Princess of Wales is known to cause a frisson of excitement with every new style appearance she makes.
The 41-year-old has royal fans in a frenzy every time she wears something new or recycles an old piece of clothing.
The princess created the “Kate effect” back in 2010 when her engagement to Prince William was officially announced, during which she wore the now-famous dark blue Issa wrap dress.
Ever since then, the royal knows how to always make a good sartorial impression by effortlessly mix and matching high-end designers with high-street brands.

Zara
Even the Princess of Wales loves the high street retail giant.
Kate has been snapped regularly wearing Zara clothing on multiple occasions.
Her most recent look was during this week’s visit to a family portage session at the Orchards Centre in Sittingbourne, Kent, where she wore a bright red Zara blazer.
Reiss
Kate frequently wore Reiss in the early days of her royal career.

In recent years, the royal has opted for tailored blazers from the brand.
Boden
The royal is a big fan of quintissential British brand Boden and has worn it on a number of occasions.
She’s chosen a wide range of clothes from summer dresses to cosy cardigans and jumpers as well as chic tops.
Even her daughter Princess Charlotte wears the brand.
Marks & Spencer
Marks & Spencer has been a high street staple for a number of years for the Princess of Wales.
The royal loves championing the brand and every item she wears sells out instantly.
LK Bennett
Princess Kate has chosen to wear LK Bennett since the very early days of her royal career.
She’s known to regularly wear heels from the brand as well as different clutches.
Recently she’s been wearing the brand’s feminine dresses as well as blazers.
Whistles
Kate has favoured British staple Whistles on many occasions.
She’s been snapped re-wearing the brand’s beautiful garments many times with one example being in 2021, when she re-wore a Whistles blouse dating back to 2008.
Jenny Packman
If you ever see the Princess of Wales in a dress, it will probably be a Jenny Packman dress.
Whilst Kate has favoured other designers over the years, Jenny Packham is her go-to for gowns.
She’s worn her evening gowns countless of times, whilst recently the designer made some daytime looks for the royal too.
Alexander McQueen
Princess Kate has a special relationship with the former designer at Alexander McQueen, Sarah Burton. She was her wedding dress designer after all.
Kate consistently collaborates with the British label opting for military style pieced and tailored ensembles.
Alessandra Rich
Kate has chosen to wear Alessandra Rich several times in recent years with the designer being responsible for her collared polka dot dress which reminded many of Princess Diana.
Emilia Wickstead
The Princess of Wales has been frequently pictured wearing Emilia Wickstead dresses.
The royal owns many of her dresses in different colours.
Lululemon
Kate is known for her love of sports so it’s only natural she’d choose Canadian athletic apparel company brand Lululemon.
In 2021, the royal wore the brand’s Define jacket with fans quickly trying to get it.
And this year, she wore the brand’s trainers for a sporty solo engagement at the Maidenhead Rugby Club.
