Heavily-pregnant Kate visits Turner Contemporary art gallery in Margate

Princess Kate has been known for her different interests and hobbies through the years.

The Princess of Wales is into sports and she also adopts a healthy lifestyle.

But she is also very much into art, and there is one particular thing she favours in order to give herself some inner nourishment, according to a royal author.

Tina Brown wrote in her book “The Palace Papers” that Prince William’s wife is very much into London’s art scene and regularly makes solo trips to and around museums, galleries and other attractions to “nourish her inner life”.

The mum of three reportedly likes to give herself some private time and space to “get her fix”.

However, there have been times when she got caught.

The book claimed the incident happened while she was visiting the David Hockney exhibition at the Royal Academy.

It claimed that when one member of the public spotted her, the princess reportedly replied: “I miss my history of art. It’s what I do to get my fix.”

Princess Kate studied Art at the University of St Andrews and graduated with a 2:1 degree in 2005.

This is also where Kate met her future husband Prince William in 2001.

Her artistic talents were seen in 2017, when Kate drew the cover of the order of service for her sister Pippa’s wedding with James Matthews.

At his wedding speech, James praised the Princess of Wales, saying: “To Pippa’s sister Kate, such ability – a beautiful drawing of St Mark’s church in the order of service.”

Kate has also done other work in the arts, including selecting photos in 2018 for the National Gallery’s Victorian Giants: The birth of art photography exhibition and taking photographs of members of the Royal Family, including her family.
