Kate, the Princess of Wales and Prince William have been spotted ordering and delivering pizza as they commenced their tour of the country today.

The couple was snapped as they visited the Dowlais Rugby Club earlier today, one of the first destinations on the short, two-day tour of the home nation.

Photographers caught them as they waited outside the Little Dragon mobile pizza van, as they stopped by the club in Merthyr Tydfil.

Additional pictures showed the couple bringing the pizzas inside, with the Princess hauling seven boxes and her husband holding a stack of five.

They delivered the food to waiting members of a local mountain rescue team.

They are embarking on the tour to mark the 60th anniversary of Central Beacons Mountain Rescue, and to meet members of local communities.

The tour launched earlier today, and saw the couple participate in some training activities.

Prince William is the patron of Mountain Rescue England and Wales, and together, he and his wife practised abseiling, medical support, and watched a search dog rescue demonstration
