Princess Kate shares Charlotte’s favourite snack – it’s very random

Princess Charlotte is eight years old so it would be expected that her favourite foods are pasta, pizza, chicken nuggets and chips – like many of her peers her age.

However, the little Princess has been brought up in some very unique circumstances and has already likely sampled some of the world’s finest cuisine as a royal, even at such a young age.

Charlotte’s proud mummy Princess Kate once revealed which snack her daughter is partial to.

Back in January 2018, Kate made a visit to Great Ormond Street Hospital to open the Mittal Children’s Medical Centre.

Here she chatted to four-year-old patient Rafael Chana, and got chatting to him about what kind of foods he likes.

She soon learnt that she and Rafael had something in common when the little boy revealed he was a fan of olives.

Kate reportedly told him: “I used to eat lots and lots of olives when I was little as well.”

During a visit to Lavender Primary School in February 2019, Kate confirmed that Princess Charlotte was also a fan of olives, a rather unusual favourite for a child.

What’s more, Charlotte would have been just under four years old at the time, meaning she had very mature tastebuds at such a young age.

Kate does a lot of cooking with her little ones. In 2019, she told Mary Berry: “We grow our own vegetables, we’ve got carrots, beans, beetroot’s a massive favourite, Louis absolutely loves beetroot.”

She also confirmed that Princess Charlotte “obviously loves her Charlotte potatoes”.

Kate said that she really enjoys getting her kids involved in the cooking at home, and enjoys the fact they can be “creative” and “independent” with it.

Matthew Kleiner-Mann, chief executive of the Ivy Learning Trust, revealed that Kate and the gang whip up cheesy pasts together.

He said: “One stirs the flour, one puts the milk and butter in. She was telling us how much her children love cooking and how they cook for her.”

As for Prince George’s favourite food, this could be a tasty Italian dish, according to one expert.
