Princess Kate ‘now sounds posher than William after taking elocution lessons’
The Princess of Wales now sounds posher than her husband thanks to elocution lesions, a new book has claimed.
Royal commenter, Omid Scobie, detailed Kate’s journey from student to princess in his new book Endgame.
She first met Prince William in 2001 while studying at the University of St Andrews, where she caught his eye while walking in a charity fashion show.
The couple married 10 years later and now have three children together – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
Scobie has called the now-Princess of Wales an “institutional dream come true”, saying she “successfully sublimated her authentic self, becoming an enigma to the public and perhaps even herself” in order to fit her role.

The author claims that, as part of her training, she underwent “several rounds of elocution lessons” which have made her sound posher than her husband.
He has also said that Kate has had “five or six private secretaries” in as many years with one of them calling the job “uninspiring and frustrating”.
The book also claims to shed light on the Princess’ relationship with her brother-in-law’s wife Meghan Markle.

Scobie alleged that Kate is “cold if she doesn’t like someone” and “she wasn’t a fan” of Meghan.
“She spent more time talking about Meghan than talking to her,” an insider told Scobie, saying Kate “jokingly shivered when Meghan’s name has come up” in conversation.
This tension is echoed in Prince Harry’s memoir, Spare. He claimed the Princess of Wales was “on edge” knowing that “going to be compared to, and forced to compete with, Meg.”
Omid Scobie’s new book, Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarch’s Fight for Survival, will be released on November 28
