Princess Eugenie vs Beatrice: How bride-to-be Bea overshadowed by sister amid lockdown

Princess Beatrice, 31, was due to marry Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi on May 29 having announced their engagement last September. However, the coronavirus pandemic has disrupted Bea’s big day as the only church services allowed to go ahead amid lockdown are funerals. Beatrice and Edoardo are expected to postpone their wedding until next year and have been keeping a low profile during the current crisis.

Princess Beatrice is extremely close with her little sister Princess Eugenie, 30, but the tight-knit duo have been spending lockdown apart.

Eugenie is understood to be staying at the Royal Lodge with her husband Jack Brooksbank and parents Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew.

Beatrice is believed to hauled up with Edo at his West London home where the couple are expecting to remain until social distancing measures are lifted.

Beatrice is said to be the less outgoing York sister and with her wedding on hold, it seems Eugenie has reclaimed some of the spotlight.

The post read: “It’s World Art Day… I wanted to share something I did some years ago now. ⁣

“Looking through my old art and crafts has been so fun today and I just hope this time can bring about more creativity from anyone who enjoys it. ⁣

“Happy #worldartday.”
