The Queen’s granddaughter visited her old school in Wiltshire last week and had the chance to reflect on some childhood memories. The 31-year-old was speaking to students at Marlborough College about The Anti-Slavery Collective alongside her co-founder Julia de Boinville.

During the speech, Eugenie also spoke about her time at the school and showed pupils a photograph of herself alongside her classmates on the big screen.

The snap showed Eugenie with a full fringe standing for the year group picture.

A second unseen picture shows Eugenie and Julia grinning at the camera while they sit on the beach.

The images have since been shared on the Instagram page of The Anti-Slavery Collective.

In the caption, the organisation wrote: “Last week our co-founders, HRH @princessbeatrice and Julia de Boinville, visited their old school Marlborough College to speak to the students about the work we do at The Anti-Slavery Collective and how they too can become activists!”

The post has since been bombarded with posts from a number of royal watchers.

One user with the Instagram handle mrsannaptak wrote: “Love love love.”

Togetherbandofficial wrote: “So wonderful! Anyone can be an activist.”

Meanwhile, lrbutt added: “Love this.”

Eugenie attended Marlborough College from 2003 to 2008.

The royal went on to study Art History and English Literature at Newcastle University, where she gained a 2:1 degree.

The school visit came during a busy week for her.

On Sunday, Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank christened their nine-month-old son, August.

Zara Tindall and her husband Mike also christened their son Lucas Philip at the same ceremony in Windsor.

The Queen, 95, attended the rare joint baptism at the Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park.

Her Majesty’s appearance came just days after she resumed light royal duties following a short break.

The Duke of York and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were also reportedly in attendance.

The ceremony came three days after Eugenie’s father-in-law sadly passed away.

George Brooksbank died at the age of 72 on Thursday, November 18.

A notice by the Brooksbank family read: “Brooksbank, George. Died on 18th November.

“Loved all the good things in life but especially his wife, friends, boys, daughters-in-law and grandchildren.

“Private family cremation, memorial details to be announced.”
