In an Instagram story post today, Eugenie revealed she will join Meghan’s 40×40 project. In the post, she also implored others to give up 40 minutes of their time to mentor a woman re-entering the workforce. Meghan revealed the project today to mark her 40th birthday and has already secured multiple figures such as Adele and Melissa McCarthy. 

In her post, Eugenie wrote: “To celebrate dear Meghan’s 40th birthday I’m contributing 40 minutes of mentorship to support women re-entering the workforce. 

“In the past two years, tens of millions of women around the world have departed the workforce. 

“If you can, please join me and commit 40 minutes to community, service, or mentorship.”

The project was announced by the Duchess today in humorous video which was posted on the Archewell wesbite. 

In the video, Meghan joked with McCarthy over what she was planning to announce to mark the occasion. 

Filmed at their respective homes, Meghan is seen sitting in front of her computer which sits atop a pile of books. 

Eagle-eyed viewers noticed the books were copies of her children’s novel, ‘The Bench’. 

In one frame of the video, viewers were also treated to a series of pictures which appeared one photo of her youngest child, Lilibet, who was born in June this year.

Prince Harry, 36, is also seen in the outtakes at the end of the video juggling outside, much to the amusement of Meghan and Melissa. 

The two other pictures also appeared to show Harry and their firstborn Archie, 2. 

If proved to be Lilibet, it would be the first time the youngest child has been shown to the world. 

One fan commented on the video: “I like to think that on the three photos joined, the one in the middle is a photo of Harry holding Lili.”
