Princess Diana’s brother took to Twitter to express his feelings about the event that took place last week at his family’s ancestral home. The Earl re-tweeted a message from the official BBC Northampton account which showed a yellow air ambulance on a path at what appeared to be Althorp. Alongside the post, the father-of-seven said: “Delighted to have had the Northants & Warwickshire Air Ambulance Day at @AlthorpHouse today – despite the rain, 4,000 people came to Althorp to learn about the invaluable service of this wonderful charity.”

Replying to the initial post written by the Earl, one of the 4,000 visitors responded: “We had a fabulous visit to @AlthorpHouse to see the Air Ambulance service up close.

“Everyone was so welcoming and informative, food and drinks went down well too.

“Even the weather couldn’t dampen our spirits! Thank you for hosting the event.”

As reported by Hello Magazine, it has been a busy time for the Spencer family, mainly because Charles’ eldest daughter, Lady Kitty Spencer, married her new husband Michael Lewis in a lavish ceremony in Rome last month.

The three-day Italian celebrations featured five wedding dresses and celebrity guests including Pixie Lott and Made in Chelsea star Mark Francis Vandelli.

Kitty, however, did break the tradition in one respect, as her father did not walk her down the aisle.

Instead, the bride chose to have her brothers Louis Spencer, Viscount Althorp, and Samuel Aitken take on the important role.

The news comes after it was reported that Princess Diana and nice Kitty share many similarities in terms of looks and style, but there is one trait in particular that differentiates them – personality.

And, a body language expert has now spoken out about the obvious differences.

Kitty, 30, recently married multimillionaire Michael Lewis, 62, in Italy.

Princess Diana was just 19 when she tied the knot with Prince Charles at St Paul’s Cathedral on July 29, 1981.

According to body language expert Judi James, their non-verbal communication on their wedding day is the complete opposite.#

It is indeed very easy to spot the contrast between the utterly beautiful Spencer women as “there is a world of difference between them and not just in their roles as brides.

“Kitty and Diana’s body language signals are totally opposite.

“Kitty’s smile is perfect and her eye expression confident.”

Ms James continued: “Diana’s smile was more complex.

“We can now see the photos of her best smiles but in-between these were a whole raft of other, fleeting expressions from fear to sadness and a sense of reflection on the massive life step she was taking.”

When she married Prince Charles, “Diana’s control levels were low to the point of non-existent.”

Ms James added: “We saw a young girl being swept along by the tide of the events and coming to terms with the fact that there might be ‘three in this marriage’.”

However, the expert explained when Princess Diana was 30, “more empathy and similarity” with Kitty can be found.

“Diana had emerged from the ruins of her marriage stronger and far less idealistic.

“That girl who grew up on romance novels was much more knowing and wary.

“She might even have been slightly in awe of Kitty, who appears to have got her own life so carefully in check.”

However, Diana’s niece still looks stronger and more confident than the Princess ever was.

Ms James said: “Kitty is a model and a confident woman in her 30s, looking fully in control and able to absorb all the focus and interest with no sign of anxiety or negative emotion.

“With Kitty we are gazing at her beauty but not sharing her moments personally.

“If there is a narrative it is more like a fashion shoot from Vogue,” she said.
