Princess Diana would be “devastated” after Prince Harry accused Prince William of bullying him, according to Dan Wootton. The former News of the World journalist described the six part Harry and Meghan Netflix series as a “delusional fantasy of victimhood.”

Writing on Twitter the former Sun associate editor said that the claims meant that the relationship between the Duke of Sussex and the Prince of Wales was effectively over.

He said: “In a gutless roundabout way, Prince Harry has just accused Prince William of bullying him out of the Royal Family.

“This Netflix series isn’t just a delusional fantasy of victimhood, it’s the end of his relationship with his own brother.

“Princess Diana would be devastated.”

During the second part of the miniseries the Duke described how it was “terrifying” to have his own brother “scream and shout” at him when they were discussing the Sussexes future with the firm.

In the documentary the Duke said it was his decision, not his wife’s to step down as senior working royals.

It came after plans for a half-in, half-out royal life were rejected during a family meeting at the Sandringham estate in Norfolk.

He also said his father, the then Prince of Wales, said things that “just simply weren’t true” while the Queen looked on.

Buckingham Palace has yet to comment on the claims.

The Sussexes described why they decided to give up their royal duties and move to the US, arguing that they were not supported by the Royal Family when the Duchess received extensive negative press.

While the Duchess talked about how she considered taking her own life, the Duke reflected that he often reacted as “Institutional Harry” rather than “Husband Harry”.

Reflecting on the Sandringham meeting, the Duke said that his preference was for the couple to do their own jobs while also supporting the Queen at the sametime.

He said: “It became very clear, very quickly that that goal was not up for discussion.”
