Princess Charlotte has one particular song that is a firm favourite for the young royal. During his appearance on the Apple Fitness + podcast Time to Walk, Prince William revealed that his daughter loves to dance and dress up to one classic pop song. William also said their youngest child Prince Louis loves to copy Charlotte when she dances.

During his appearance on the Time to Walk podcast in 2021, William touched on many royal-related stories, including speaking about his three children.

William gave us a glimpse on their music tastes, and said: “One of the songs that the children are loving at the moment is Shakira, Waka Waka. There’s a lot of hip movements going along. There’s a lot of dressing up.”

He added: “Charlotte, particularly, is running around the kitchen in her dresses and ballet stuff and everything.

“She goes completely crazy with [Prince] Louis following her around trying to do the same thing.”

William also revealed that his two eldest, George and Charlotte, disagree over “what song is played in the morning”.

He added: “And I have to, now, basically prioritise that one day someone does this one, and another day it’s someone else’s turn.

“So George gets his go, then Charlotte gets her go. Such is the clamour for the music.”

William concluded: “What I’ve been amazed by is how much my children already have inherited my family’s love of music.”

The Prince and Princess of Wales’ three children are often kept out of the spotlight.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte have, however, joined their parents on some recent royal outings.

In March 2022, Charlotte and George marked their first major church event for the Duke of Edinburgh’s memorial service at Westminster Abbey.

Princess Charlotte, who will turn eight in May, and Prince George, nine, also attended the late Queen’s state funeral last September.

Royal fans and experts praised Charlotte and George for their “immaculate” behaviour at the service. Due to the nature of the event, the pair were reportedly allowed to make the decision to attend themselves.

The three children were all notably absent from the couple’s latest appearance for the Commonwealth Day service.

Although no official reason was given for their absence, fans speculated that the reason for the children’s no-show was due to it being held on a Monday afternoon – which clashes with school.
