Princess Beatrice’s kept huge secret at Crown Prince’s royal wedding

Princess Beatrice may have been holding on to a huge secret as she partied the day away alongside the likes of Prince William and his wife Kate, Princess of Wales this month.
Unbeknownst to the world, and the many guests at Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan’s wedding, Princess Beatrice had become an auntie for the second time as her nephew Ernest was born in London.
Less than 48 hours after Ernest was born in Westminster’s Portland Hospital, Beatrice was seen enjoying herself as Prince Hussein wedded his architect wife Princess Rajwa, in a spectacular ceremony in Amman.
She was accompanied to the event by her husband Edo, and cousin William and his wife Kate.
And after Eugenie posted to share Ernest was welcomed to the world on May 30, it was highly likely Beatrice enjoyed the spectacle safe in the knowledge she was an auntie again.
During the event, Beatrice, a mother herself to young Sienna, sparkled as she wore a blue Needle and Thread dress to the ceremony.
When it came to the evening, Beatrice – ninth-in-line to the throne – partied while wearing the York tiara, a bombshell moment as it was only the second time the 34-year-old had ever worn it in public.
The tiara was a special gift to Beatrice’s mother Sarah Ferguson from her late mother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth II. Beatrice’s wedding to Edo was the first time it had been seen in public for two decades.
Her appearance came six days before Eugenie finally announced the arrival of Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, who was born weighing 7lb 1oz.

In a statement on Instagram, Eugenie shared a picture of her newborn son, who was snapped alongside his elder brother August.
The caption read: “Jack and I wanted to share the news that we had our little boy, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank on 30th May 2023 at 8.49 weighing 7.1lbs.
“He is named after his great great great Grandfather George, his Grandpa George and my Grandpa Ronald. Augie is loving being a big brother already.”

Ernest’s name has a long history with both the families of Eugenie and Jack.
King George V, Queen Elizabeth II’s grandfather, had the middle name Ernest, while it was also the name of Jack’s father, who passed away in 2021.
The name Ronnie is a nod towards Eugenie’s mother, Sarah Ferguson, as her father was called Major Ronald Ferguson. He passed away in 2003.
