Beatrice got engaged to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi with the stunning ring during a holiday in Italy in September 2019. And the couple celebrate their first wedding anniversary tomorrow after tying the knot in a secret lockdown wedding last July.

Beatrice’s engagement ring, designed by jeweller Shaun Leane, is currently estimated to be worth up to £140,000.

The band is similar to the Queen’s engagement ring, which also has an Art Deco design flanked by diamond pearls.

Beatrice’s ring also has a connection to the Duchess of Sussex, as the diamonds in both their engagement bands are sourced from Botswana.

Max Stone of jewellers Steven Stone said: “Princess Beatrice’s ring is an absolute stunner.

“A six claw round diamond takes centre stage, which looks to be around 3 carats.

“The round diamond shoulders two tapered baguettes, which gives the ring a vintage feel and Art Deco-inspired look.

“For added sparkle, the ring also features small pavé diamonds halfway around the band.

“From the images, it’s clear the diamonds are VVS grade, which means they have minuscule inclusions that are difficult even for trained eyes to see under 10x magnification.

“The diamonds look flawless.

“With this in mind, I would estimate the value of this ring to be around £130,000 to £140,000.

“Thanks to its royal legacy, this will no doubt increase in years to come.”

Beatrice broke royal tradition with her wedding band, which is made from platinum and pave diamonds.

Traditionally, royal wedding rings are made from Welsh gold.

Beatrice and property tycoon Edo are likely to be celebrating their milestone first wedding anniversary this weekend.

The couple, whose families have known one another for years, had a whirlwind romance.

They started dating in 2018 after meeting again at Princess Eugenie’s royal wedding.

They are now expecting a baby in the autumn.

Buckingham Palace announced Beatrice’s pregnancy in May, saying the Queen’s granddaughter and Edo were “very pleased” to be welcoming their first child.

The palace added: “The Queen has been informed and both families are delighted with the news.”
