Princess Beatrice wedding: Will Edoardo’s ex-girlfriend come to wedding?

Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi announced their engagement last month. The event is expected to include a number of royal and celebrity guests. But will Edoardo’s former fiance, architect Dara Huang, be counted among the invited guests?

Dara Huang is the former partner of Princess Beatrice’s husband-to-be Edoardo Mapelli Mozzie.

She is an American architect and designer who studied at Harvard University.

Ms Huang now runs her own architecture company, DH Liberty, which operates out of London and Hong Kong.

She was engaged to marry Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, until they broke up in 2018.

Ms Huang is also the mother of his three-year-old son Christopher ‘Wolfie’ Woolf who was born in 2016.

The couple dated for around three years, before the relationship reportedly ended abruptly.

Edo is said to have started dating Beatrice just a few short weeks later in October 2018.

But despite the sudden end to their relationship, the 37-year-old mother-of-one has never spoken out against her ex-fiance or his new partner.

Instead, the pair are said to have remained amicable throughout, sharing custody of their son.

Dara and Edo were reportedly still living together in his London home when he began dating Beatrice around last October.

She then moved out of the flat and stayed with a friend until she found her own London pad.

Now, she is said to live in a property with her son near her Clerkenwell office.

In fact, Ms Huang even congratulated the pair on their engagement.

She told MailOnline: “I wish the best for Edo and Beatrice and look forward to uniting our families.”

The comment demonstrates the continued amicability between the pair.

Dara and Edo’s son Wolfie is reportedly said to have been chosen as the best man for the glittering royal wedding – so will his mother also be in attendance?

The Daily Mail reported Dara is undertaking etiquette lessons ahead of the royal wedding.

Columnist Richard Eden wrote: “When Princess Beatrice marries property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, his ex-girlfriend is determined not to put a foot wrong.

“Architect Dara Huang — who has a three-year-old son, Christopher Woolf, with Edo — is expected to be invited to the royal wedding and she’s already receiving etiquette lessons ahead of the big day.

“Her friend Myka Meier, who runs the New York-based business Beaumont Etiquette, visited London this week and showed Dara how to cross her legs in a lady-like, elegant fashion.

“Dara practised inclining her legs in what’s known as the ‘duchess slant’, then confided in friends: ‘It really does look better’.”

The couple’s three-year-old son is also reportedly undertaking etiquette lessons with Myka, a well-known etiquette trainer who is close friends with the US-born Dara.

Myka lives in New York with her Swiss husband and was trained in etiquette by a former staff member of the Queen.

She is the founder of Beaumont Etiquette and The Plaza Hotel Finishing Program and next year publishes debut book Modern Etiquette Made Easy.
