After the glorious wedding of Princess Eugenie last year at Windsor Castle, all eyes are currently on her older sister, Princess Beatrice. The oldest daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, Beatrice is thought to be completely smitten with a multi-millionaire property developer. Expectations are mounting that Princess Beatrice could soon be the next royal to tie the knot.

Yet so far there has been no official announcement from the Palace on any impending nuptials involving Princess Beatrice.

Despite this, rumours are circulating the pair could be married by as early next year – and the bookmakers are certainly confident.

Ladbrokes have now suspended betting on Princess Beatrice getting married next year.

Having been a 1/2 shot last month, the bookies are fully convinced Princess Beatrice is completely smitten with her reported boyfriend, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “It looks as though Princess Beatrice will be stealing the royal limelight next year with a 2020 wedding on the cards.”

Who is Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi?

According to reports from The Sun, Mozzi is a 34-year-old Italian multi-millionaire who made his money in property development.

Through his interior design company, Banda Property, Mozzi reportedly specialises in discreetly find and developing expensive homes for rich clients.

Mozzi is the step-son of the late Christopher Shale, a friend of David Cameron, who died of natural causes at Glastonbury Festival in 2011.

Mozzi is also the co-founder of a charity, Cricket Builds Hope, which teaches cricket in Rwanda.

Mozzi was a guest at the wedding of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank last year.

Princess Beatrice was first rumoured to have been dating Edoardo in October 2018.

It is thought the Princess had connections to Mozzi prior to dating, as a friend of the family.

The Princess broke up with her boyfriend of ten years, Uber executive Dave Clark, in 2016.

Only time will tell if Beatrice and Edoardo will ever tie the knot, but if they do, it’s sure to complete a hat trick of magnificent royal weddings over the last two years.
