Princess Beatrice wedding heartbreak as Edo spends time with ex ‘she cuts his hair’

Princess Beatrice, 31, is said to want her fiancé Edoardo, known among family and friends as Edo, to have a little more distance from his ex-girlfriend Dara Huang. Edo, who shares a three-year-old son Wolfie with Dara, still has his hair cut by his former fiance. But according to the insider, Beatrice has nothing to worry about.

An insider told The Mail on Sunday: “Having initially been very cool about their friendship, Bea would rather there was a little more distance between Dara and Edo after all.

“Edo may disagree, but Dara personally believes they would still be together were it not for Bea.

“But Bea has nothing to worry about – Dara cuts his hair and styles Edo because she’s a Tiger mum.

“She has no secret wish to get back together. Plus, she actually quite likes Beatrice.”

They added: “The ceremony will go ahead but it is looking like it will be far from a fairy tale wedding at the moment.”

The Queen has, according to a source, offered to hold Beatrice’s wedding reception at Buckingham Palace later this year.

One friend told the Daily Mail: “Bea was delighted and very grateful to accept.

“It was a really special gesture as it will be the first wedding celebration at Buckingham Palace since William and Catherine’s in 2011.”

The most recent royal weddings have all been in Windsor at St George’s Chapel.

Beatrice’s sister Princess Eugenie married Jack Brooksbank at the venue in October 2018 with a reception at Windsor Castle.

Prince Harry and Meghan also married in Windsor in 2018.

Sources have suggested the royal nuptials is to be planned for “early summer” before Royal Ascot week.

However, no official date has yet been revealed and when Buckingham Palace first announced the engagement, the statement said the couple will marry “in 2020”.

The Palace added: “Further details will be announced in due course.”

Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson said of the engagement back in September: “We are thrilled that Beatrice and Edoardo have got engaged, having watched their relationship develop with pride.

“We are the lucky parents of a wonderful daughter who has found her love and companion in a completely devoted friend and loyal young man. We send them every good wish for a wonderful family future.”

On September 26, the engagement was announced via the Royal Family’s Twitter account.
