Princess Beatrice, 31, was due to tie the knot with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi on May 29 but her wedding was called off amid the coronavirus crisis. Beatrice is extremely close to her mother Sarah Ferguson, 60, and sister Princess Eugenie, 30, but spend her would-be wedding day apart from them.
While Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank have been spending lockdown with Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew at the Royal Lodge, Beatrice has been isolating with her fiancé Edoardo elsewhere.
Beatrice has been staying with Edo and her future mother-in-law Nikki Shale in Chipping Norton and spent what was meant to be her wedding day away from her mum and sister.
While Sarah Ferguson of “Fergie” sent Bea a heartfelt message of support on what must have been a difficult day, Eugenie had still not reached out to her sister at 9pm on May 29.
Unlike Beatrice, who doesn’t have a public Instagram account, Eugenie is an avid Instagram user and has been posting regular updates throughout lockdown.

From posting about the work she and mum Fergie have been doing to support NHS workers to celebrating family milestones including her 10th anniversary with Jack last month, some fans may find it strange she hasn’t paid tribute to Bea today.
Fergie took to Instagram earlier today to share an emotional message to her daughter.
The proud mum post an adorable picture of Beatrice as a little girl with the sweet caption: “Love you my darling Beatrice.
“You have given me more joy than I could ever wish for.
“I am so excited to celebrate yours and Edo’s love when we all are out of lockdown.”
She added: “The most important thing is health and love and today I send it to you and all the other people that were getting married during this time .. so proud of you all.”
Beatrice and Edo have postponed their big day for the foreseeable future and are yet to announce a new date.
In April a source close to the couple told People: “There are no plans to switch venues or hold a bigger wedding.
“They aren’t even thinking about their wedding at this time.
“There will come a time to rearrange, but that’s not yet.”

- How Princess Eugenie may struggle being away from Beatrice
Beatrice and Edo were due to have their ceremony at the Chapel Royal in St James’s Palace.
The Queen, 94, was to host their reception in the gardens at Buckingham Palace but this arrangement was called off in March ahead of lockdown coming into place.
The Queen and Prince Philip, 98, are both in their 90s and at high risk from coronavirus.
While the royals were expected to be guests at Beatrice’s big day whether they can attend in future will largely depend on the coronavirus risk.
Prince Philip retired from public life in 2017 but has made an effort to attend recent royal weddings.
He joined the Queen for Princess Eugenie’s wedding to Jack in October 2018 and was thought unlikely to miss Beatrice’s.
Princess Beatrice was Eugenie’s maid of honour and played an important role at her royal wedding.
She was expected to make Eugenie her maid of honour too and is still likely to do so when her wedding finally goes ahead.
