Princess Beatrice is already “preparing for motherhood”, according to royal commentators. The Queen’s granddaughter announced that she and husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, are expecting their first child together this year. Royally Us podcast hosts Christina Garibaldi and Molly Mulshine discussed the new royal baby.
Ms Mulshine told listeners: “This is so exciting – he or she is due in the autumn.
“She already has a stepson, her husband has another son.
“They call him Wolfie, which is really sweet.”
Ms Garibaldi added: “She spoke out in a magazine recently saying that Covid was a really special bonding time for her and stepson.”
The host continued: “She loves reading to him and things like that.
“So I’m sure it’s definitely preparing her for motherhood of her own.
“It’s going to be nice to have another royal baby in the mix. There are just so many.
“This is going to be the 12th great-grandchild for the Queen, which is unbelievable.”
