Princess Beatrice and Eugenie: How sisters had a ‘screaming match’ over a pair of shoes
Princess Beatrice, 31, and her sister Princess Eugenie, 29, might be royal, but they’re just like any other sisters: thick as thieves but not immune to a proper row. Eugenie has revealed a particularly amusing anecdote about a fight they had in the past.
Speaking to The Telegraph before her 18th birthday, Eugenie opened up about sibling rivalry.
She said: “Like most sisters, we sometimes fight about clothes.
“I always take her clothes back to school, for instance, which she hates.
“We had a screaming argument over a pair of Converse trainers that I took back, which she said were hers and I said were mine.

“And in the end I realised they were hers when I found mine behind the door”
But Eugenie said the pair are always close, regardless.
“Like all sisters, we have silly arguments about unimportant stuff, but we do love each other to death,” she said.
This closeness has seen the sisters through the years.
Now, as they begin to start their own families, they have stuck together.
Eugenie got married in 2018, and Beatrice will marry this year.
In both weddings, the sisters play a major role.
They are also extremely close with their mother, Sarah Ferguson.

Eugenie revealed the three York women call themselves “The Tripod” and called Beatrice and her mum “my best friends in the world”.
These relationships will be even more important now was scandal has engulfed their father, Prince Andrew.
Eugenie previously described Andrew as “the best dad, an amazing person”, but both she and her sister have avoided speaking of him since the Jeffrey Epstein interview.
It seems, however, that the Queen is eager to protect her granddaughters from the scandal, and could even be considering increased royal roles for them.
According to a Daily Mail source, the Queen has offered to host Beatrice’s wedding reception at Buckingham Palace, seen as a sign she wants Beatrice to fill the gap left by her father as well as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
The Crown’s royal historian, Robert Lacey, told Hello! Magazine: “It’s quite clear that one of the consequences is that Beatrice and Eugenie will now be brought forward—if they’re willing to be brought forward.”
Beatrice has never been a working royal, and has her own job.
She is vice-president of partnerships and strategy at Afiniti, an American software company where she focuses on client development.
