Bea and Edo, 34, are less than a year into their relationship but things are moving quickly, with the pair holidaying abroad and the princess introducing her beau to her parents.

The Italian tycoon was spotted enjoying a night out on the town with Beatrice and her mum Sarah Ferguson and is said to have met Prince Andrew behind closed doors.

The young couple are often pictured posing at events looking camera-ready and loved up.

Last week Beatrice celebrated her 31st birthday, prompting bookmakers to suspend betting on a royal engagement due to a flurry of bets.

There has been speculation that Beatrice’s dream of having an extravagant royal wedding like her younger sister’s may be dashed due to Edo’s background.

Last October Princess Eugenie, 29, tied the knot with Jack Brooksbank, 33, in front of the Queen and senior royals at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.

Royal expert Angela Mollard told the podcast “Royals”,  the fact that Edo already has a child with someone could be seen as an obstacle to a traditional royal wedding.

But even so, she said the royals may still choose to allow the couple to marry in an old-fashioned way, adding: “I would hope there wouldn’t be any censure on him because of the fact that he has a son.”

The financier was previously engaged to architect Dara during their relationship which is believed to have collapsed last year.

The mother-of-one’s Instagram page is decorated with photos of her socialising and on business in Asia.

Beatrice is said to be itching to become a mum herself as she watches other young royals such as Meghan, 38, Kate, 27, and Zara Tindall, 38, extend their broods.

When host Rebecca Hyde asked Ms Mollard if Beatrice has her heart set on welcoming a baby in the near future, she replied: “Yeah, apparently she adores kids.

“She’s really keen.

“She’s 30 now and she wants that to be part of her future.”

Last month Fergie, 59, addressed rumours after reports suggested her younger daughter Eugenie was expecting her first child.

The Duchess of York told a gathering at American businessman Ernie Boch Jr’s house: “She’s not pregnant!”
