Prince William’s brutal dig at Kate which caused audience to burst out laughing exposed
Although the Duchess of Cambridge has a palace full of staffers looking out for her, she is known to take a hands-on approach when it comes to the kitchen. The royal whips up most of the meals for Prince William and their children, with Kensington Palace chefs praising her improvement. However, during a visit, her husband couldn’t resist taking a swipe at her skills in front of everyone.
At a 2016 charity gala, Kate told the chefs there: “William has to put up with my cooking most of the time.”
The Duke of Cambridge shot out: “It’s the reason I’m so skinny.”
The little dig caused their audience to burst out into laughter.
However, the teasing could also relate to the Duchess’ preference for a healthy, produce-filled diet.
A video posted on Twitter by Harper’s Bazaar talked about the eight rules the royal woman swears by when it comes to food.
According to Carolyn Robb, chef to the royals, William enjoys spending time with the Middletons because they eat together at the kitchen table like a normal family.
To slim down before her wedding day, Kate was rumoured to have utilised the Dukan Diet.
This is a high-protein, low-carb program that celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and Gisele Bundchen are said to have used to lose weight after pregnancy.
For her first Christmas, she came up with a clever gift idea for Queen Elizabeth.
She decided to DIY and whipped up a batch of her grandmother’s chutney for the occasion.
The Duchess said about the choice: “I was slightly worried about it, but I noticed the next day that it was on the table.”
