Royal commentator Peter Hunt highlighted how significant that three days had passed since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Oprah interview had aired and Prince William still hasn’t spoken to them. While speaking on LBC with Eddie Mair, Mr Hunt insisted Prince William and Prince Harry’s relationship remained absolutely fractured. He reiterated that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had made a variety of confessions and it was very telling that the Duke of Cambridge still hadn’t reached out to his brother.
Mr Hunt said: “We just have to cast our minds back to three days ago.
“This is when his sister-in-law, Meghan Markle, was on television talking about how difficult things had been when she was pregnant.
“How she didn’t want to be alive anymore and had suicidal thoughts and that it was frightening how no one supported her.
“That she begged for help and his brother talked about the fracturing of his relationship with his father and his brother and yet three days on William has told us he hasn’t picked up the phone to this couple.

“It just highlights yet again how absolutely fractured and in a parlous state that relationship is.
“A relationship of two brothers who were unbelievably close.”
During the interview, both Meghan and Harry made accusations of race proving to be a difficult topic while being members of the Royal Family.
Specifically, the pair claimed that a Royal Family member raised concern over how dark the skin of their first child would be.
Kate Middleton and William pay visit to east London school
Prince William addressed these comments during a visit to a school in east London earlier today.
While speaking to staff at the school, the Duke of Cambridge was asked by Sky News reporter Inzamam Rashid whether he had spoken to his brother Prince Harry since the interview aired.
William replied: “I haven’t spoken to him yet but I will do.”
The reporter then asked if the Royal Family is a racist family.
To which William replied: “We are very much not a racist family.”
Mr Hunt also added that this interaction highlighted what a difficult situation the Royal Family currently finds themselves in.
He said: “It was striking in both aspects.
“It just shows what a pickle and a bind the Windsors are in and it just shows the impact of the television programme.
“You just have to pause and think this is the second in line to the throne, the man who will inherit the throne of the UK, a multicultural country, and 50 other countries of the Commonwealth if they are still a part of it when he is crowned.”
