Prince William urged to give interview responding to Harry’s claims

Royal expert Alexander Larman has urged Prince William to take a stand and give an interview responding to his younger brother, Prince Harry. He claims that it should be known that the Royal Family are “all very concerned” for the 38-year-old, who stepped down as a senior royal three years ago and has since made a number of damning claims against the Firm.

Mr Larman told US Weekly: “I’m on record saying that they should have responded.

“I think Prince William should have given an interview in which he extended the hand of brotherhood.”

The royal expert, and author of the new book – ‘The Windsors at War: The King, His Brother and a Family Divided’, said: “[William] should have said, ‘we’re all very concerned about him.

“We understand that he [had] the most awful traumatic shock when his mother died so young. You know, we know life has been hard for him’.”

Mr Larman also stated that he “can’t see in the current situation” how the Duke of Sussex is going to “have any sort of relationship” with any of the members of the Royal Family.

Prince Harry has notably drifted apart from William despite the two brothers once having a close brotherly bond.

One close friend of William’s previously stated that the 40-year-old feels unsure over whether he could “ever fully trust his brother again”.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped away from their lives as senior royals in early 2020.

The pair now live in the US with their two young children – Archie, 3, and 22-month-old Lilibet.

Prince Harry and Meghan have been invited to the King’s Coronation in May.

The pair publicly confirmed an invite had been extended to them in the US, despite some speculation over whether the King would be set to snub his younger son and daughter-in-law.

The couple has, so far, failed to confirm whether they will be joining the royals for Charles’s big day.

Last month, the couple released a statement confirming the invite, which was extended via email to Harry.

The statemenr read: “I can confirm the Duke has recently received email correspondence from His Majesty’s office regarding the coronation.

“An immediate decision on whether the Duke and Duchess will attend will not be disclosed by us at this time.”
