Prince William reveals what Prince George asked for in letter to Father Christmas

William opened up about George’s present requests in the BBC show A Berry Royal Christmas, which airs tonight. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge team up with cookery star Mary Berry for the festive programme which gives a look into the charities they support.

Speaking during a visit to homeless charity Passage, William revealed that George, six, loves drawing and football.

He said: “George has already written his list for Father Christmas. He loves his drawing, he’s a very good drawer.

“We might give him something to do with drawing or football. He’s loving his football as well.”

William is patron of the charity, which he first visited as a youngster with his mother Princess Diana.

He told how George supports Chelsea, despite him being an Aston Villa fan.

He said: “I try not to be too biased, I said you can support anyone but Chelsea, so naturally he supports Chelsea.”

William also discusses how George and Princess Charlotte, four, ask about people they see sleeping on the streets on their way to school.

He said: “On the school run already, bear in mind they’re six and four, whenever we see anyone who is sleeping rough on the streets, I talk about it and I point it out and I explain why and they’re all very interested.

“They’re like: ‘Why can’t they go home?’”

In another clip, Kate talks about getting in the kitchen with George, Charlotte and Prince Louis, one.

Asked by Mary she does any cooking with her children, the mother-of-three said: “Yes, I really enjoy it.

“Again, for them to be creative, for them to try and be as independent as possible with it.

“Actually, one of the last things we cooked together was your pizza dough!

“We made pizzas with your pizza dough recipe.”

Kate added: “They loved it. Absolutely loved it.”

Mary joins William and Kate on four royal engagements for the programme.

She also shares some of her Christmas recipes as she prepares food for a royal event to thank staff and volunteers from charities and organisations working over the festive period.

A Berry Royal Christmas airs on December 16 at 8.30pm on BBC One.
