The Duke of Cambridge looked calm and sombre as he sat in the back seat of a car beside his wife Kate. He wore a black face mask with a black suit. Today all eyes will be on the two brothers as they reunite a year after Harry stepped down as a senior royal. They will walk separately with their grandfather’s coffin in a heartbreaking moment.
The future King will follow his father Prince Charles, aunt Princess Anne, and uncles Prince Andrew and Edward, to lead the Royal Family in remembering the Duke of Edinburgh’s more than 70 years of service to the Crown.
The Cambridge children, Prince George, seven, Princess Charlotte, five, and Prince Louis, two, have remained at home with their nanny.
Today is believed to be the first day William has come face-to-face with his brother Prince Harry after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex left for the US more than a year ago.
