Who is Prince Philip’s favourite grandchild?
Many may assume Philip’s favourite is Prince William, as a person who takes his role as future King seriously.
However, royal experts seem to believe it’s the youngest granddaughter of Philip and the Queen – Lady Louise Windsor.
The 16-year-old is the daughter of the couple’s youngest son Prince Edward and his wife Sophie, Countess of Wessex.
She is 13th in the line of succession to the British throne.
The young royal usually spend much time with her grandparents at the Queen’s Balmoral estate in Scotland.
However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the summer is a little different this year.
Louise also shares a love of carriage riding with her grandfather.

The sport is one which the Duke helped make popular in the UK.
He represented Britain in three European championships and six world championships.
Lady Louise is a keen horseback rider and Philip has often attended her competitions to cheer her on and remains very passionate about riding himself.
Another royal who loves horses is Louise’s father and Philip’s son Prince Edward.
Louise and Edward were spotted on an early morning horse ride this week.
Prince Edward lives with his family at Bagshot Park, close to where Philip and the Queen are isolating.
The Queen also has a passion for horses, and had to miss Royal Ascot for the first time during her reign due to the pandemic.
In a letter to the event, the Queen wrote: “I send my best wishes to the thousands of racing professionals and enthusiasts who will join me in celebrating this year’s Royal Ascot.
“In these challenging times, we are once again delighted to welcome the best horses and jockeys from across the world and pay tribute to those who have helped make this race meeting possible.
“This year Ascot will feel different for many, as it is so often a chance for friends, families and colleagues to gather together and enjoy a shared passion.”
