Harry and wife Meghan Markle recently made headlines after the couple were ridiculed by HBO’s satirical cartoon The Prince, which follows the imagined inner workings of the Royal Family through the eyes of Prince William and Kate’s eldest child, Prince George. Whilst the show’s mockery of the 8-year-old prince, who is third-in-line to the throne, has been called out as cruel by critics, Harry and Meghan have also featured heavily in the episodes. In one episode, Harry, who is played by Orlando Bloom, reveals he wanted to be a massage therapist when he was younger.
His wife responds: “Ah… I wanted to be a princess.”
Harry is quick to reply: “Oh, well you kind of f***ed that up.”
Of course, having grown up in the spotlight, the show is not the first time Prince Harry has been embarrassed in public.
In December 2015 a famous photo booth picture circulated online that was taken at model Suki Waterhouse’s housewarming party and featured the prince alongside Ms Robbie, Cara Delevingne, Sienna Miller, and Harry’s cousin Princess Eugenie.
The image, which has since been deleted, showed the group pulling funny faces, with Ms Miller wearing an elf hat, and the Prince in a pair of novelty glasses.
Months later, when speaking on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the Australian actress admitted she had posed for the photo without knowing who Harry was and even claimed she had thought the Prince was red-headed musician Mr Sheeran.
Mrs Robbie said: “He wasn’t wearing a crown – I don’t know he was a prince.
“Actually, when I saw him in those glasses I was like ‘oh my god, I didn’t know Ed Sheeran was at the party’ and he got really offended and was like ‘shut up.’”
The actress, who propelled to fame when starring alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street, later told the Sun: “Everyone now thinks if they come on a night out with me in London, they’ll bump into Prince Harry.
“But I didn’t even know who it was. I’d had a drink or drinks.
“I thought I was hanging out with Ed Sheeran – I was thinking ‘Ed’s a really cool guy’.
“I’m going to take some pictures with him.”

When asked if Harry had responded well to the misunderstanding Mrs Robbie laughed: “Nope.”
Harry and Mr Sheeran are thought to be good friends and even teamed up to share a comedic Instagram video in October 2019 as part of a campaign for World Mental Health Day.
The Shape of You singer can be seen mistakenly believing that he and the Duke of Sussex are meeting to discuss their red hair.
Mr Sheeran tells Harry: “I’ve actually been trying to write a song about this, to get it out to more people.”
The prince responds: “Someone with your skill set, to be able to write lyrics of a song, to raise awareness would be amazing.”
The singer continues: “That’s exactly what I’m trying to do.
“People don’t understand what it’s like for people like us, the jokes and snide comments, I just feel like it’s time we stood up and said we’re not going to take this anymore.
“We are ginger and we’re going to fight.”
Harry then hilariously says: “This is a bit awkward – there might have been a miscommunication, but this is about World Mental Health Day.”
Ed can then be seen deleting “GINGERS UNITE” from his laptop screen.
