Meghan and Harry’s Oprah interview reportedly took place last Tuesday.

Ms Winfrey is said to have spent two days with the Sussexes filming the interview.

The primetime show is scheduled to air on CBS on March 7 at 8pm for the east coast of America.

For those in the UK, the programme will be live at 1am on March 8.

The interview will mark the first time Meghan and Harry give a major televised interview since stepping back as senior members of the Royal Family.

The Palace, who were not warned about the plan before it became public knowledge. 

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are said to have been “appalled” by the Sussexes’ decision to tell their story in a televised interview, according to a source reported in Us Weekly.

The source told the magazine: “It’s just beyond the pale for William and Kate, especially in light of the dreadful timing with Philip in the hospital.

“They are utterly aghast.”

During their Oprah interview, Meghan and Harry are not expected to talk negatively about the Cambridges.

Another source told Us Weekly: “They won’t talk negatively about Prince William and Duchess Kate.

“They don’t want to put any more fuel on that fire.”
