Prince Harry shock: How Duke could copy cousin Princess Eugenie with THIS move

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will no longer be senior members of the Royal Family when the clock hits midnight tonight. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended their final royal engagements earlier this month, before jetting off back to North America to be with son Archie Harrison.

On Monday, Meghan and Harry shared their final post on their official Instagram account @SussexRoyal to wave royal life goodbye.

The couple posted a message to their fans on the account, revealing they would use “the new chapter to understand how to best contribute”.

The post, which was signed off “Harry and Meghan”, has racked up more than 325,000 likes in the hours it’s been up.

The caption read: “As we can all feel, the world at this moment seems extraordinarily fragile.

“Yet we are confident that every human being has the potential and opportunity to make a difference—as seen now across the globe, in our families, our communities and those on the front line—together we can lift each other up to realise the fullness of that promise.

“What’s most important right now is the health and wellbeing of everyone across the globe and finding solutions for the many issues that have presented themselves as a result of this pandemic.

“As we all find the part we are to play in this global shift and changing of habits, we are focusing this new chapter to understand how we can best contribute.

“While you may not see us here, the work continues.

“Thank you to this community – for the support, the inspiration and the shared commitment to the good in the world. We look forward to reconnecting with you soon. You’ve been great!

“Until then, please take good care of yourselves, and of one another. Harry and Meghan.”

The Sussexes will reportedly reveal their new brand and charity this week, with Instagram being their launch platform of choice.

On the couple’s joint account, they boast 11.3 million followers.

However, with Monday’s farewell post, it’s speculated Harry and Meghan won’t be using the @SussexRoyal handle anymore.

Instead, Harry could follow in his cousin Princess Eugenie’s foot steps and set up his own personal account.

Princess Eugenie is the only royal with a personal profile on the social media platform.

Eugenie, who is the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, boasts 1.1 million followers.

The Princess shares rare glimpse into her life as a royal and as co-founder of the Anti Slavery Collective.

She is the only royal with a personal Instagram account, but fans would be keen on adding Harry to that list.

If that’s the case, it’s likely Meghan will also set up her own Instagram profile.

Before she married into the Royal Family, the Duchess of Sussex frequently posted pictured from her @MeghanMarkle account.

She shared pictures of her life in Toronto, her travels and her dog Bogart.

The account has since been deleted from the social media platform, but the former actress managed to amass a staggering three millions followers on Instagram.
