Prince Harry sent huge Megxit warning before Queen showdown ‘You can’t have it both ways!’
Meghan Markle and Harry: Levin discusses couples' wish for privacy
Royal author Angela Levin claimed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex want to keep the benefits of being a royal as they start a new life of personal and financial freedom in America. She highlighted that Harry is understood not want to lose his military appointments despite quitting royal duties.
Asked about the outcome of the Megxit review, Ms Levin told Express.co.uk: “I can’t see they will want to return to the royal fold.
“They have got all these side contracts in place on the other side of the world.
“But I do think they probably want all the benefits of being a royal.
“It does help them get lots of jobs undoubtedly and I think they want to do that.

“I think Harry very much wants to have a connection with the military and also the charities that he loves supporting.
“But as has been said a hundred times you can’t have it both ways.”
The Sussexes announced plans to step back as senior royal a year ago and this became official on March 31 2020.
The Queen’s grandson and the former Suits actress agreed to a 12-month review of the plans, which is due in March, leaving the door open for a return to the royal fold.
However, they have since struck multimillion-pound deals with Netflix and Spotify.
And the couple has established their Archewell foundation.
They have also bought an £11million mansion in Montecito, California, where they have settled in with their 20-month-old son Archie.
The issue remains of what will happen to Harry’s honorary military titles.

The appointments – Captain-General of the Royal Marines, Honorary Air Force Commandant of the Royal Air Force Base Honington, and Honorary Commodore-in-Chief of the Royal Naval Commands’ Small Ships and Diving – were put on hold for a year after Megxit and Harry is not currently allowed to take on any roles using them.
It will be the Queen’s decision as to what happens to the titles.
However there is not expected to be an announcement immediately after the March 31 anniversary.
One year on from their bombshell announcement of plans to step back as senior royals, Meghan and Harry are in a “very good place”.
A source said: “After a very turbulent 12 months for everyone in the world and massive changes of moving country and all the rest of it, they have also been very vocal about what they have gone through in their own personal life.
“They have a house. They have created the financial independence that they were after.
“They have launched their organisation and their organisation is underway doing amazing things already.
“And so I think that they are in a very good place.”
Following Meghan and Harry’s shock statement on January 8 2020, the Queen held a summit at Sandringham with Prince Charles, Prince William and Harry to solve the crisis.
They stepped down as working royals completely and stopped using their HRH styles.
Buckingham Palace declined to comment.
