Harry, 36, has become increasingly outspoken in the last couple of years as he has attacked the media coverage of him and his wife, Meghan, 40. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex dramatically left the Royal Family last year and have since bombarded the Firm with a string of scathing criticism. The Duke also sparked fear in Buckingham Palace last month as he announced he would publish a memoir in late 2022.
Commentators have speculated about whether the autobiography may reveal more details about him and Meghan stepping back from their royal roles.
However, it is not only Harry’s family who have been angered about comments he has made in relation to his wife.
Meghan’s relatives were also irritated by Harry as the Duke made a controversial radio appearance, an unearthed account shows.
The BBC’s former royal correspondent Jennie Bond said Harry’s appearance on Radio 4 after Christmas in 2017 caused major upset among the Markles.

The commentator was speaking for the 2021 documentary, “Secrets Of The Royal – The Markles vs. The Monarchy” and claimed “Charles famously adored Meghan”.
She said: “Harry was guest-editing the Today programme on Radio 4 shortly afterwards and he said they had had a lot of fun at Christmas.
“Then he made a rather unfortunate remark, he said ‘I suppose it’s the family she never had’, meaning Meghan.
“Well, that went down like a lead balloon with the Markle family obviously and it’s a remark they have never forgotten.”
Harry had spent Christmas with Meghan – then his fiancee – and the rest of his family at his grandmother the Queen’s Sandringham estate in Norfolk.
Meghan’s invitation marked a break with royal protocol as Christmas at Sandringham is usually only reserved for family members and their spouses.
Harry’s appearance on Radio 4 saw him interview his father, Prince Charles, and former US President Barack Obama.
As part of his part of the royal special, Today’s presenter, Sarah Montague then interviewed Harry.
She asked him if there were any family traditions he had needed to explain to Meghan ahead of Christmas.
He replied: “Plenty. We’ve got one of the biggest families that I know of and every family is complex as well.

“She’s done an absolutely amazing job. She’s getting in there and it’s the family that I suppose, she’s never had.”
The Duke’s comments were immediately seized upon by Meghan’s estranged half-sister, Samantha Grant.
She claimed that the family had accommodated Meghan even after the Duchess’s parents Thomas and Doria Ragland split up.
In a tweet, Samantha said: “Actually she has a large family who were always there with her and for her.
“Our household was very normal and when dad and Doria divorced, we all made it so it was like she had two houses.
“No one was estranged, she was just too busy. Read my book complete with facts and photos.”
Samantha is the daughter of Thomas Markle’s first marriage before he met Doria.
Harry said in his recent memoir announcement that he will speak further about his relationship with Meghan, as well as his role as a father to their two children, Archie Harrison, two, and Lilibet Diana, two months.
His book will be published by Penguin Random House, with all the proceeds to be donated to charity.
