Prince Harry promoted to exciting new role which has special links to Meghan

Prince Harry takes part in African Parks campaign

Prince Harry has been appointed as a member of the Board of Directors for conservation organisation, African Parks.

The Duke of Sussex’s new role is very close to his heart as he became president of the organisation in 2017.

As president, Harry has taken on many conservation projects to protect national parks and wildlife in countries across Africa.

Announcing Harry’s new position, the organisation said on its website:”The Duke has dedicated his life’s work to advancing causes that he is passionate about, and that bring about permanent change for people and places.

“For over two decades, he has taken a deep personal interest in frontline conservation projects across Africa that work to protect the region’s natural resources and wildlife, for the benefit of local communities.”

Africa is a special place for Prince Harry, who’s been visiting the continent since his early years.

The royal has even brought his now wife, Meghan Markle, to Botswana, when they were dating, as well as his son Prince Archie.

It’s been reported Harry will be bringing his daughter, Princess Lilibet to the continent in the future as well.
