Prince Harry lets slip his approach to parenthood as he clings onto Lilibet

According to a body language expert, Prince Harry appears to show what “type of father” he is as he took his two-year-old daughter to a Fourth of July event last week. The Duke of Sussex was pictured holding tightly onto his young daughter as the pair appeared immersed in the festivities. Princess Lilibet, who celebrated her second birthday last month, was dressed in a blue floral dress as she joined her father for the rare public outing.

Body language expert Darren Stanton told HELLO! that the way Prince Harry held onto his young daughter is telling of his approach to parenthood.

He said: “You can tell how caring he is as a father, and how seriously he takes parenting.

“From the way he is holding her, I can tell he has a lot of joy in that moment while being protective of her.”

The expert continued: “It’s clear he is at his happiest when with his children and Meghan. He and Meghan show they are very tactile with their children and always have been.”

Stanton added: “Harry’s body language suggests he is very much a hands-on father, and it’s important to him to be that way with his children. He doesn’t hold back from that.”

Prince Harry has a second child with wife Meghan, four-year-old son Archie.

Although not pictured during the sweet moment, Meghan and Archie are understood to have joined in the celebrations later on.

The family-of-four, who reside in California, were captured in a sweet video waving during the Fourth of July parade.
