Prince Harry has emerged as a “completely different person” since her made the decision to step down as a working royal and relocate to California with wife Meghan Markle and their young family, an expert has said.
After leaving the UK in 2020 Harry has “reconnected with himself” and found a sense of “inner peace” as he has grown in confidence within himself and within his relationship.
Body language analyst Darren Stanton said on behalf of Betfair Casino: “Harry has become a lot more relaxed since moving to the States. He is a completely different person.
“When he was still in the UK, he had to adhere to a lot of the royal protocols and we get the impression now that he couldn’t really be himself.
“In terms of his body language, we’ve seen Harry show fewer pacifying gestures, meaning he doesn’t feel the need to reassure himself as much as he did when he was a working royal in the UK.”

He added that the Prince feels “less pressure” and seems to be far less “frustrated or nervous” in his new life in Montecito, where he and Meghan are raising their two children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
In January this year Harry released his explosive memoir Spare, which detailed his experiences in the Royal Family and made damaging claims against many of his family members, including the King and Prince William.
Mr Stanton said of Harry’s criticisms: “Harry has also become a lot more outspoken over the past few years. A member of the Royal Family would never, ever get angry, or display their personal opinion.

“They’re always told to follow the words of, ‘never explain, never complain’. But Harry has broken this mould, which has given him the chance to be more open and honest with himself.
“You can tell through Harry’s body language that he is genuinely happy. It’s clear he has a sense of peace now. He’s been able to do what he needed to do.”
Speaking about Harry and Meghan’s relationship, he added that while the “honeymoon period” is over they have established greater “independence” in their professional paths.
This week Meghan has joined her husband at the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, Germany, and the couple have been very openly affectionate, hugging and holding hands.
The Duchess arrived a few days later to the competition, as she explained she had to get her children settled at home before making the journey across the pond.
The Games are set to finish this Saturday, with Meghan rumoured to be taking to the stage to make an “emotional” speech to the competitors.
