Prince Harry and Prince William have been described as “my boys” by US rapper, actor and businessman Snoop Dogg. The LA-based personality claimed to have “reached out” to the royal brothers after learning they were his fans and have since been in a good relationship with them.

Snoop Dogg told the Mirror: “Harry and William are my boys.

“As soon as I knew they were fans I reached out to them and we’ve been cool ever since.”

The Dukes, he added, can “reach out” to him whenever they want to do so.

He continued: “I look out for them and they can reach out to me whenever they want they know that.”

The hip hop icon also expressed his “respect” for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after they decided to live “their lives like they want”.

After conceding “that can’t be an easy thing with the whole world judging them”, the rapper added: “They got to live life their way – they get a lot of respect from me for that.”

He then extended an invitation to “Snoop’s crib” for Thanksgiving dinner to Meghan Markle and Harry.

Prince Harry and Meghan moved to California in late March 2020, shortly before they officially stood down as senior royals.

Over the past months, they have struck multi-year deals with Netflix and Spotify which will see them produce video and audio content exclusively for these platforms.

But they have also dipped their toes into the start-up world.

In late 2020, it was announced Meghan had invested in wellness coffee company Clevr Blends.

In March this year, the Duke of Sussex joined mental wellbeing and coaching firm BetterUp as chief impact officer, where he will continue his years-long work on mental health.

Moreover, the Sussexes have also launched their non-profit Archewell Foundation, which has partnered up with several initiatives and organizations since its launch.

Among the issues Archewell has so far championed there have been fighting online misinformation, supporting communities and vaccine equity.

In September, the Duke and Duchess took New York by storm in their first official joint visit of the city, which included meetings focused on the issue of vaccine equity.

Among the high-profile people they met, there was the US Ambassador to the United Nations, Linda Thomas-Greenfield.

Following their encounter, she tweeted: “Wonderful meeting with Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

“Important discussion of COVID, racial justice, and raising mental health awareness.”

The couple also held a meeting with UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed as the 193-member world body was undergoing its annual gathering in the Big Apple.

On the same day, they took the centre stage of Global Citizen Live, a 24-hour-long event attended by several A-listers.

The goal of this event was to urge G7 countries and the European Union to share Covid vaccines with developing countries.

The organisers also championed the end of worldwide poverty and called on governments to do more to protect the environment.
