Angela Levin criticised Prince Harry’s appearance on US television where he spoke about Meghan, Archie and his anger towards the British press. The royal expert explained that Harry had courted the media quite well in his younger years when he was establishing charities and the Invictus Games which gave him positive publicity. Ms Levin spoke with Julia Hartley-Brewer on talkRADIO with the pair airing their grievances against the exiled royal stating he was trying to “run the Royal Family” from the outside.

Speaking on talkRADIO, host Ms Hartley-Brewer said: “We knew he (Prince Harry) has a lot of anger about how his mother was treated by the media.

“But we also know that an awful lot of what was in the media about his mother was actually placed by her with the journalists who wrote those stories.

“He seems to want it both ways doesn’t he?”

Ms Levin replied: “I mean when they left they said they want to do things their way.

“They want to run the British monarchy their way, they want to take over.

“And be in competition with the British monarchy I mean it is absurd and I think he’s convinced himself that they are absolutely right and everybody else who disagrees with them is wrong.

“How many of these tell-alls are we going to have?”

Prince Harry was interviewed by chatshow host James Corden and spoke about Meghan, Archie and his dealings with the press.

Prince Harry 'stopped engaging with the press' says expert

It comes as Oprah Winfrey’s interview with Meghan and Harry is set to be broadcast on March 7.

Ms Levin added: “And of course, what he seems to have completely forgotten that when he set up this charity in Africa, Sentebale, which was for orphans whose parents had died of AIDS.

“The press came along and did a documentary about it, publicised it enormously.

“Think of Invictus Games it wouldn’t be so important unless the press has done it.

“I mean, I think it’s ludicrous and I think that’s just him finding an excuse and of course he has stepped away and anybody with any common sense would realise you can’t be part of the monarchy when you’re over 5000 miles away in a different time zone.

Earlier in the interview, Ms Hartley-Brewer pointed out that Harry and Meghan were seeking to “monetise” their privacy rather than pursue it as an end in itself.

Harry and Meghan were also branded as “control freaks” who wanted to manage what everything was being said about them.
