Prince Harry and Meghan only come 12th and 13th in poll of most popular royals

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have finished an embarrassing 12th and 13th place in a new poll of the most popular members of the Royal Family.

YouGov has released the results of a poll that asked people in the UK to rank their favourite royals of 2023.

Coming in first place was the late Queen Elizabeth II, with 80 percent of those asked having a positive opinion of her.

Second was Kate, Princess of Wales, and then William, Prince of Wales.

The fourth spot was taken by Princess Anne, followed by Zara Phillips and then King Charles III in sixth place with a 52 percent rating.

Those in the spaces between the King and Prince Harry are Sophie and Prince Edward, Queen Camilla, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who rated higher than only Prince Andrew, came in 12th and 13th place with just 24 percent and 23 percent of people having positive opinions of them.

But this is in contrast with the fame rating, where YouGov asked people whether they had heard of the royal.

In these ratings, Harry took first place with 99 percent of people knowing who he is, and Meghan came in fourth with 97 percent.
