The Duke of Sussex, 37, and his cousin Eugenie, 31, were spotted at the Super Bowl together in California on Sunday. The Prince and Princess sat next to each other at Los Angeles’ Crypto Stadium for the game and viewed the event from inside a private box.
Eugenie’s husband Jack Brooksbank was not present at the game at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, but it is possible that he flew out to the US with her.
Jack could have remained at the couple’s accommodation in the US with their son August, who just celebrated his first birthday.
Harry also wasn’t joined by his wife Meghan at the game.
It is likely the Duchess of Sussex remained at the Sussexes’ home in Montecito, Santa Barbara, to look after their children two-year-old Archie and eight-month-old Lilibet.
The royals did not reveal whether Eugenie is staying with her cousin, wife and two young children at their US home.
However, while stateside Eugenie may have got to meet baby Lili in person as since her birth last summer, the little tot has yet to make a trip to the UK to meet members of the Royal Family.
While it is not clear where the Princess is staying while in California, she is the first member of the Firm to appear publicly in the country alongside the Duke since the Sussexes moved across the pond.
Royal fans may not be surprised that Eugenie was the first royal to make the trip to the US, as she and Prince Harry have long enjoyed a close relationship.
Eugenie was rumoured to have been the first to know about Harry’s blossoming relationship with Meghan.
Harry and Eugenie’s long-prevailing bond is said to extend back to when they were children.
During the royal cousins’ childhood, Princess Diana and Sarah Ferguson were close friends who spent a lot of time together and often had their children tagging along together.
Despite both being senior royals, both Harry and his cousin were often seen frequenting the London club scene together.
Eugenie and Harry were reportedly regular attendees of popular London club Mahiki together.

During her interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in November 2021, Meghan also revealed that she and Harry went incognito with Eugenie and Jack to a post-apocalyptic themed Halloween party in Toronto.
Also, Eugenie publicly congratulated Harry and Meghan on the birth of their daughter in June last year.
At the time, she wrote on her Instagram stories “Congratulations dear cousins… we couldn’t be happier for you all,” alongside six red love heart emojis.
Their children August and Lilibet are also just four months apart in age, so the cousins could bond over their shared experiences of parenthood so far.
Harry and Eugenie’s appearance at the Super Bowl came just days after Eugenie’s son August celebrated his first birthday.
The Queen’s granddaughter shared a snap on Instagram to mark his big milestone on February 9.
A picture of Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank and baby August on their recent skiing holiday was captioned with “Happy 1st Birthday to our little hero Augie.
“You are such a special soul that brightens every room with your smile and wave.
“You have made us so very proud. We love you!”
