Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not returned to British soil together since March 2020, as Meghan has been absent from Harry’s trips back since they moved to California. The Duke of Sussex has flown back to the UK twice, once for the funeral of the Duke of Edinburgh, and again for the unveiling of a commemorative statue of his late mother. The Duchess of Sussex was pregnant with her daughter Lilibet Diana on both occasions and she was reported to have been advised to avoid long-haul travel.
US Weekly correspondant spoke to Joe Little, managing editor of Majesty magazine on Royally US podcast.
Podcast presenter Christina Garibaldi asked: “There’s rumours that Harry will come back for the platinum jubilee, do you think that Meghan will join him, and do you think the royals would welcome her back and want to have a relationship with her?”
He said: “I’d be amazed if Meghan didn’t join him. I’m thinking that Harry will come back before the jubilee, the main celebrations are in June 2022.
“I think he’ll be back before then, maybe later this year.”

He said: “All the Royal Family will come, specifically Meghan and Harry as she didn’t attend the funeral.”
Pregnant Meghan stayed in California on the advice of her doctor.
