Prince Harry and Meghan are ‘all talk and no action’, expert claims

Prince Harry and Meghan have been accused of being “all talk and no action”, a royal expert and commentator has said as they claimed the Duchess of Sussex has yet to launch any form of White House move despite reportedly harbouring “political ambitions”.

Referring to the entire time since Megxit, Camilla Tominey claimed that the couple have failed to deliver anything spectacular – even with Meghan’s reported political ambitions.

Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior royals in 2020, before settling into life in the US.

Ms Tominey has commented on the recent claim that Meghan and Harry wished to fly home to the US on Air Force One after the late Queen’s funeral last September.

Although it was denied, the expert added that the fact the couple even put forward a request, embodies their “attitude to power”.

She added, in her recent article for the Telegraph, that the couple pose “all the trappings, with none of the responsibility”.

Citing Meghan’s political dream, the expert added: “What the pair appear to have forgotten is that, in order to gain a reputation as a leading statesperson or philanthropist, you actually have to have done something.

“Instead, what we’ve had from the Duke and Duchess since Megxit has been all talk and no action.”

In 2021, as part of her political goals, Meghan reportedly contacted senators in the US as she campaigned for paid paternal leave.

The former actress contacted senators Shelley Moore Capito and Susan Collins.

Upon stepping down as senior royals, the couple signed a few multi-million-pound deals, seemingly perfect for their financial mindset.

Just last month, a little over two years after signing the contract, the couple parted ways with Spotify.

After releasing only one series, via Meghan’s podcast Archetypes last year, a joint statement was released.

The couple currently still hold onto their deal with Netflix, having released their six-episode docuseries last December.

In their departure statement, which was shared on their official Instagram account, the couple claimed that they wish to “work to become financially independent”.

Although the statement appeared with no warning, the pair claimed – at the time – that the decision had come after “many months of reflection and internal discussions”.
