Prince George will celebrate his seventh birthday today. The young royal is third-in-line to the throne behind his grandfather Prince Charles and father Prince William. Through the years, he has provided the Royal Family with many fun moments. Express.co.uk has compiled some of the best photographs of Prince George over the years.
Prince George was born on July 22, 2013, at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London at 4.24pm.
Prince William and Kate Duchess of Cambridge left the hospital with their son the next day.
When they left, the couple paused on the steps of the Lindo Wing to give the world the very first glimpse of their newborn son.
The new family secured their son into the car seat before driving to their family home of Kensington Palace.
The couple revealed their son’s full name of George Alexander Louis on July 24.

Prince George was christened on October 23 at the Chapel Royal at St James’s Palace.
Keeping with royal tradition, George wore the handmade replica of the Royal Christening Robe made by Angela Kelly, dressmaker to the Queen.
River Jordan water and the Lily Front were used during the baptism.
Prince George’s godparents are Oliver Baker, Emilia Jardine-Paterson, Earl Grosvenor (Hugh), Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, Julia Samuel, Zara Tindall and William van Cutsem.
The Cambridge family undertook their first tour as a family in April 2014 to New Zealand and Australia.
William, Kate and George’s was three-weeks long and saw Prince George feature on two occasions.
Prince George was later seen adopting a protective stance at Princess Charlotte’s christening.
Princess Charlotte was born on May 2, 2015, and George accompanied his father to the hospital to meet her for the first time.
He was later shown standing near Princess Charlotte in her pram at the christening at St Mary Magdalene in Sandringham on July 5, 2015.

Prince George met then US President Barack Obama in April 2016.
The one two-year-old was wearing his pyjamas, slippers and a dressing gown with his name embroidered on it.
President Obama later joked about the meeting where he said: “Prince George showed up to our meeting in his bathrobe… a clear breach of protocol.”
George was also photographed with a rocking horse gifted to him by the former US leader.
Prince George attended his first day at school in September 2017.
He attends Thomas’s Battersea in London where he is currently in Year Two which he began in September 2019.
In September he will move up to the Middle School where school fees will increase to £7,262 per term.
Princess Charlotte joined her brother at Thomas’s last September.
Kensington Palace released new photographs of Prince George on Tuesday to commemorate his seventh birthday.
The new photographs were taken by Kate at Anmer Hall in Norfolk where the Cambridge family have spent the duration of lockdown.
George is pictured wearing his signature polo shirts with jeans as he stands in front of what appears to be a pale green wooden door.
The young royal has been seen throughout lockdown, clapping for the NHS and delivering food parcels in Sandringham to mark Volunteers’ Week.
