The three-part ITV series shines a light on four of Britain’s most prominent aristocratic dynasties as they reveal what really goes on behind their closed doors. Charles will step into the realm of reality TV as he features in the next episode on Monday.
The ITV show filmed scenes at Harrogate’s The Great Yorkshire Show in July last year, attended by the future King.
Fans of the ITV programme will see the Prince of Wales speaking to Lord Gerald Fitzalan Howard about his prospects of purchasing a cow at the prestigious farming event.
In the clip – obtained by the MailOnline – Lord Gerald’s wife, Lady Emma, says: “Oh my goodness, have you seen who’s here?
“Prince Charles. Oh my God.”
Charles approaches the 17th Duke of Norfolk’s son,
The Prince of Wales is then heard: “Are you trying to buy?”
To which Lord Gerald replied: “I am sir. I am. Course I am.”
While referring to breeds of cattle, Prince Charles says: “Shorthorn. Are you a Shorthorn man?”
Lord Gerald nervously quips: “I’m trying to be a Longhorn man.
“I’m Shorthorn, Longhorn, not quite sure.”
The heir to the throne then asks Lord Gerald: “They are a wonderful cow.
“Where are you going to put them?”

“Wow. What were the chances of that happening?
“Absolutely love it. That has literally made my day.”
Although Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, also attended the prestigious event she did not make her reality TV debut.
