Charles met young entrepreneurs helped by the trust to start their own businesses. Satwika Saran, 20, set up Ma’s and Monkey’s, delivering vegetarian and vegan Indian food in Hartlepool. And James Tyer, 29, told him about his delivery service using electric bikes in Newcastle.

The prince also went to a health centre, took a ride on the Metro to mark its 40th anniversary, met charity workers helping the homeless, and visited wax jacket maker Barbour.
