Barbara Windsor: Former EastEnders star dies at the age of 83

Prince Charles and Camilla expressed their sorrow following news of the death of Eastender legend Dame Barbara by sharing a poignant message on their social media account. The royals’ Twitter account, Clarence House, published three pictures of the actress alongside a personal message. 

It read: “Dame Barbara Windsor – a great British actor and tireless charity campaigner who will be deeply missed.” 

The first snap published by the Twitter account shows the smiling actress holding her royal honour. 

In the second photograph, the actress is pictured speaking and smiling to the Prince of Wales. 

In the third snap, Dame Barbara sits next to a delighted-looking Duchess of Cornwall.
